Optimist Clubs participate in community service programs that are dedicated to bringing out the best in youth. Since each club is autonomous and run by members in their community, Optimists have the unique flexibility to serve the youth of their area in any way they see fit.

Annual membership fee of $35 (subject to change). 

Participation in our various projects is encouraged but not required beyond working one 3-4 hour shift per year at the Optimist Club cheese curd stand located at the Northern Wisconsin State Fairgrounds.

If you know a member of our club they will be happy to sponsor you. Without knowing a club member, we invite you to attend a weekly meeting to experience our club and then fill out a paper application or an electronic application online. Click here.  

Regular attendance at meetings helps you stay up-to-date and in tune with what is happening in the club.  Meetings are also an opportunity to connect, share, and enjoy speakers, guests, and each other while celebrating Optimism and the youth in the community. Attending meetings is not required.
